This incredible wedding at the stunning Falconhurst Estate will be remembered by us for many reasons..
Access to this beautiful marquee was via a field that housed an excitable heard of cows who were on a mission to escape. Every time we entered or exited the field in the van they would come charging towards us at great speed! Whilst it was incredibly funny and a bit scary, it was also pretty stressful as we bumped along the field at some speed trying to out run them with a van load of wedding flowers - not ideal!
It was beautiful weather and the spiralled flowers around the poles took a team of florists a few hours to put together and was very hot work up very tall ladders. We were on a tight time schedule as we also had to collect the lovely church aisle flowers after the weding and replace it at the entrance to the marquee.
Of course we couldn't park close to the church so we formed a chain across the very uneven graveyard to get the flowers out behind the wedding guests!
Eventually we got the flowers in place, the poles were finished and stunning, the tables set with tasteful small vases and we even had time to take pleasure in the immaculate setting before heading home.
Everything about this wedding was chosen with care, all tastefully done, no unnecessary clutter and was simply perfect!
