Amy and Joe's Winter Wedding

December 2022

About Suzanne Price

We always love working with texture and colour and Christmas is a time where we can get stuck in with both.

Deep reds give depth and warmth and are of course perfect for the season. If we can we prefer to use flowers that are in season or not travelled to far but In December we have to import many of our flowers as we simply don't grow enough here to supply our wedding industry. This means that we do surprisingly have a huge choice and can buy in everything from roses and tulips, anemones and ranunculus to berries and foliages from all over the world if we wanted to.

We selected velvety roses, glossy berries, cones, winter scented pines delicate astrantia and blousy ranunculus to style the day. We made bouquets, candelabra and buttonholes all perfectly co ordinated. Captured here by lovely photographer Helen England.
