Summer at The Spa

June 2023

About Suzanne Price

This happy couple managed to organise the whole of their wedding, long distance from their home on the Isle of Wight. We did a fair bit of initial planning over zoom which works well for sharing pictures and ideas and managed to get a lovely morning together at The Spa organising all the final details on one of their weekend visits.

The theme was intensley floral with a mix of summer flowers in pastel blues and pinks. The ceremony was planned to happen outside at the Temple but sadly last minute had to be bought inside because of a very iffy weather forecast. The aisle of wafting flowers still looked lovely inside and the flowers that were earmarked for the temple pillars ended up on a stunning wooden arch kindly provided by the lovely team at www.thecreatiovevenue.info  which was a very pretty backdrop.

The gorgeous bride carried a bouquet of sweet peas, delphiniums and roses which was light to carry and soft and feminine to look at. The bridesmaids carried bouquets to match and they were amazing together.

The cake was beautifully decorated with edible flowers and surrounded by fresh flowers - cake made but fabulous Claudia from Purple Flour

The tables were simply decorated with mixed coloured bottles of flowers which shone when the suns rays did eventually break through the clouds.

Beautiful images provided by Xanthe Photography.
